Hong Kong star Jennifer Yu’s 6 most iconic fashion looks, from LV to Hermès – Style Feedzy

Hong Kong actress Jennifer Yu recently celebrated the birth of her second baby and received even more good news when she was nominated for best actress at the Taiwanese Golden Horse Awards.

In the film In Broad Daylight, Yu plays a reporter who uncovers abuse in a nursing home. Critics across the board have praised the film, which is based on real-life events, as well as Yu’s performance.

Yu began appearing in films in 2016 and was nominated for the best new actor award at the 36th Hong Kong Film Awards for her debut role in the film Sisterhood. She was also nominated for a handful of supporting roles over the years.

The actress, 30, tried her hand at a musical career in 2020, though it appears she has since shifted her focus back to film and television.

Many of Yu’s film roles have her dressed in simple clothes and wearing minimal make-up. In real life, however, the model and mother of two always looks polished and glamorous when out in public.

Yu landed on several best-dressed lists for her look at the recent Hong Kong Film Awards. Resplendent in a Fendi couture gown covered in silver sequins, Yu showed off her faint baby bump too. She completed her look with a green Fendi micro bag and diamond jewellery from Tiffany & Co.

2. Louis Vuitton

Earlier this year, Yu rocked a completely different style: a leather trench coat with an oversized clasp from Louis Vuitton. She opted to pair the tough but chic look with a pair of black combat boots and a few gold jewellery pieces. Her slicked black hair brought a rock ‘n’ roll edge.

3. Ralph Lauren

At the 16th Asian Film Awards, Yu swapped her usually girlie attire for an androgynous tux and a pair of embroidered smoking loafers. She paired the Ralph Lauren tuxedo with a white bow tie and a Chopard ruby flower brooch on the jacket lapel.

Keeping things cool and casual, Yu’s summer wardrobe seems to consist of cute separates and mini dresses in several shades. She epitomised “cute” when she stopped by a local cafe in a matching cream-coloured tank and shorts ensemble. She paired it with a pair of Oran sandals from Hermès in a matching colour, and a pink mini Bolide bag, also from the French luxury brand.

5. Soft and feminine for date night with her girls – and her Hermès

Besides the Bolide, Yu also shared a photo on her Instagram that showed off another Hermès bag from her collection. She took her Kelly Sellier for a night out with her girlfriends, styling it with a mauve lace dress. An Alhambra charm bracelet from Van Cleef & Arpels, and an Hermès Collier de Chien bangle added to her soft, feminine look.
