…WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY MORNING
THROUGH SATURDAY AFTERNOON…
* WHAT…Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 8
inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph late Friday
night into Saturday.
* WHERE…Portions of northern Indiana and southwest Michigan.
* WHEN…From Friday morning through Saturday afternoon.
* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult Friday night into
Saturday. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce
visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday
evening commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Snow may mix with or changeover to rain
during the day Friday. The worst conditions are expected to be
late Friday night into Saturday as strong winds from the west
will bring much colder air into the region along with areas of
blowing snow.
