Fifty-six Hong Kong celebrities danced to Vietnamese singer Hoang Thuy Linh’s hit “See Tinh” during the live TV airing of broadcast company TVB’s 56th anniversary celebration on Nov. 19.
The performance was part of the special event’s “Nancy Dance – Viral Songs” segment. The stars wore matching outfits in the company’s colors and danced to “See Tinh”(See Love) while the Vietnamese lyrics were sung by a Chinese singer.
Aside from the famous Vietnamese pop song, numerous other online viral hits were also part of the performance. Near the end of the show, Nancy Sit joined the dancing crowd on stage.
Three hours after a video of the performance was uploaded to YouTube it had already surpassed 18,100 views.

“See Tinh” has been dubbed “the Vietnamese viral anthem” by Hong Kong newspapers. After the song was widely shared on social media last year, it was covered by many online users in Hong Kong and China. The song was also translated into Mandarin and Cantonese under the title “Ting Ting Tang Tang,” which quickly made it a hit across Asia.
In a May episode of the Chinese reality show competition “Sisters Who Make Waves,” Vietnamese actress-singer Chi Pu, Taiwanese singer Ella, and Chinese actresses Jenny Zhang and Janice Wu claimed victory for their performance of “Ting Ting Tang Tang.”
During a behind-the-scenes segment of the show, Chi Pu was also shown teaching Taiwanese-American singer Amber the song’s now-famous accompanying dance moves.
Nancy Sit recently gained attention for her performance of “Ting Ting Tang Tang” at the age 73. She revealed that many show producers have since asked her to perform the song along with “Flower” by Korean girl band Blackpink’s Jisoo.
The infamous K-pop idol group also danced to “See Tinh” during their Hanoi concert in July, which further popularized the hit song.
